Goal:
ntroducing the students to the latest findings concerning theoretical foundations of project management as a specialized discipline. Mastering the basic methods and techniques used in project management. Training students to apply this knowledge in planning, following and monitoring a project.
Outcome:
Upon passing the exam, the students will be able to: plan, monitor and control small-scale endeavours using the Primavera Project Planner software package; apply the methods used in the modern organization of the production process, program the production while taking into account the market, expenses, price, capacity, and assets; apply management methods, techniques and strategies in business operations.

- The origins and development of project management.
- The basic concept behind project management.
- The functional concept of project management.
- Organizing project management.
- Managing human resources within a project.
- Managing project quality.
- Planning project realization.
- Monitoring and controlling project realization.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
- Practical instruction closely follows theoretical classes, with a particular focus on the role of project manager, report systems for project realization, and the use of the Primavera Project Planner software package.
