Hydraulics Course code: HIDR | 5 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 2
Semester: 3
Requirements:
Goal: The objective of this course is to introduce students to the basic laws of hydrostatics and fluid dynamics, with special emphasis on open-channel flow; basic knowledge of individual hydro-technical disciplines with a special focus on water supply and canalizing of a settlement; training for the independent design of external water supply and sewage.
Outcome: The course provides understanding of physical phenomena concerned in hydro-technical structures. Students are qualified for independent design of external water and sewage network. They are trained to work on the software package for hydraulic calculation of water supply network.
