Goal:
Introducing students to the basic knowledge and skills of communicating in the modern business environment, with a particular focus on communication within the textile and fashion idnustries.
Outcome:
Upon finishing the course, the students will be able to maintain a successful business communication with different business entities, buyers, and other stakeholders, primarily in the textile and fashion industries.

- Elements of business communication.
- Types and forms of business communication.
- Communication channels within a company – formal communication.
- Communication channels within a company – informal communication.
- Business negotiations.
- Stages in business negotiations.
- The process of business negotiations.
- Business presentation – goals and types.
- Business presentation – preparing the presentation.
- Business presentation – organizing the presentation.
- Business presentation – personal, group and effective presentation.
- Ethics and business etiquette in business communication.
- Appropriate clothing for business communication.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
- Practical instruction closely follows theoretical classes.
