Requirements:
Goal: Introducing students to the methodology, the latest methods and practical knowledge necessary for the evaluation of variant solutions applied in the organization and operation of postal traffic, as well as training for analysis, optimization and evaluation of different segments of this branch of traffic.
Outcome: Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - define methods of specific research and measurements in postal traffic; - arguably analyze and propose the basic elements of traffic flow and transport networks; - organize the necessary research, process and interpret data for different needs; - implement market segmentation; - independently approach the analysis of problems that arise in this area; - look at the current situation, compare and present the results, evaluate, predict and propose final solutions.

  1. Postal network - location BPU, PNU, network type, alternative type
  2. Analysis of the realized traffic for a certain service - Excel
  3. Shipment flows, users and PNU employees
  4. Automation of work in PNU
  5. Analysis of itinerary suppliers
  6. Selection of transport vehicle
  7. Choosing the shortest route
  8. The quality of the counter operations - the average waiting time in line.
  9. Market research - user structure, the structure of services by type of customer, business plan competition …
