Requirements:
Goal: Acquiring and improving the four basic language skills, i.e. reading and listening comprehension (receptive) and speaking and writing practice (productive) as well as translation from English to Serbian and vice versa.
Outcome: Upon completion of the course, students should be able to use the acquired knowledge and language skills in their daily life and work.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Quantifiers; Articles: a/an, the, no article
  2. Phrasal verbs; Question tags
  3. Third conditional
  4. Gerunds and infinitives
  5. Reported speech: statements, questions and commands
  6. Passive: be+past participle
  7. Relative clauses: defining and non-defining
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Workbook - lesson by lesson revision and practice
  2. Interactive exercises, games and downloadable material on the English File Student's website
  3. Quick tests
