Requirements:
Goal: Acquiring and improving the four basic language skills, i.e. reading and listening comprehension (receptive) and speaking and writing practice (productive) as well as translation from English to Serbian and vice versa.
Outcome: Upon completion of the course, students should be able to use the acquired knowledge and language skills in their daily life and work.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Present simple and continuous, action and non-action verbs
  2. Past tenses: simple, continuous, perfect
  3. Future forms: going to, present continuous, will / shall
  4. Present perfect and past simple; Present perfect continuous
  5. Comparatives and superlatives
  6. Must, have to, should (obligation); Must, may, might, can't (deduction); Can, could, be able to (ability and possibility)
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Workbook - lesson by lesson revision and practice
  2. Interactive exercises, games and downloadable material on the English File Student's website
