Auxiliary Textile Materials Course code: PTM 221180 | 6 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 3
Semester: 5
Requirements: Knowledge of textile fibers and textile materials.
Goal: Introducing the students to different types of textile materials used in garment manufacturing (interlining materials, layered textile materials, notions (haberdashery), laces, ribbons, etc.) Examining the structure and properties of these materials and their influence on the final look and usability of the textile product.
Outcome: Upon passing the exam, the students will be able to: identify different types of auxiliary textile materials; determine basic structure parameters for these materials; choose an appropriate auxiliary textile material according to intended use.
