Requirements:
Goal: Determining the level of knowledge acquired in the field of databases on the example of an Oracle database project.
Outcome: The student will be able to apply knowledge of databases on a specific example of an Oracle database and application design.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Creation of a project proposal for a database design in the form of a document with user requirements that represent a part of a real database of a business. Based on the requirements, creation of a connection entity model as well as a conceptual model.
  2. Development of a web application in the APEX environment and SQL queries that provide useful information relevant to business.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Oracle Academy iLearning : Database design and programming with SQL course curriculum, Oracle 2013.
