Requirements:
Goal: Connecting the knowledge obtained in class with the demands of practical tasks within the textile industry. Systematization of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, preparing the students for individual work through visits to textile and apparel factories.
Outcome: Upon completing their internship, the students will be able to apply the obtained theoretical knowledge in solving practical engineering issues within the textile industry.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. The internship is organized in appropriate production plants, design centers, fashion studios, textile servicing companies, etc. Throughout the internship, the students keep a journal they will defend at the end of the course. Under the guidance of the internship coordinator and a person from the company who is in charge of the interns, the students are systematically acquainted with solving concrete problems in the field of textile engineering, which also prepares them for the task of writing the Final paper. The students describe the tasks that they were given during internship in the journal, and add to it the adjoining construction and technology documentation, which is all then verified by internship coordinator from the company (stamp and signature).
