Apparel Technology Course code: TIO 003044 | 6 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 2
Semester: 4
Requirements: Knowledge of textile fibers and the structure and properties of textile materials.
Goal: Providing knowledge on modern technological processes in garment manufacturing and introducing the students to the preparatory stages (construction, technology, and operative) and the technology stages (pattern making, sewing and finishing of completed garments) in the production of clothes, as well as the process and parameters of frontal fusing of the interlining material.
Outcome: Upon passing the exam, the students will be able to: determine the basic technology parameters according to the stages in apparel manufacturing; actively participate in the organization and process of apparel manufacturing; choose the optimal solution from the technological and operative point of view in each of the technology stages; organize a modern, highly productive garment manufacturing workflow.
