Reference Geodetic Networks Course code: RFGM | 7 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 1
Semester: 2
Requirements: Passed the subject Geodetic Network in State Survey or Geodetic Network in Engineering in basic applied studies.
Goal: Training of future master engineers for jobs on the development and implementation of geodetic reference networks and special purpose networks and mastering the theoretical foundations, principles and methods of development of these networks. Mastering the reduction problem - reduction of geodetic measurements from the physical surface to the computational surface.
Outcome: Deepened knowledge of the characteristics of reference geodetic networks and the ability to realize them independently in the field of state survey and in engineering and technical fields. Students are trained to independently perform all necessary calculations in the process of designing any type of geodetic network, as well as to reduce measurements from physical to computational area, calculate reduction parameters and properly process measurement results.
