Requirements:
Goal: Training of future master engineers for jobs on the development of all types of geodetic projects in accordance with the current design methodology, relying on the project approach that is present in all geodetic disciplines.
Outcome: Students are trained to participate in the development of all types of geodetic and technical documentation based on the acquired knowledge.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Project task - content, significance, role.
  2. Feasibility study - content, role, legal framework.
  3. Preliminary design of geodetic works - content, role, legal framework.
  4. Selection of variant solutions in the conceptual design.
  5. Technical control of the conceptual design - content, significance, role, legal framework.
  6. Bill of quantities and estimate of works.
  7. Technical control of the main project - content, significance, role, legal framework.
  8. Project documentation in the phase of performing geodetic works.
  9. Supervision over the execution of geodetic works.
  10. Diary of geodetic works and inspection books.
  11. Project of the derived condition - content, significance, role, legal framework.
  12. Use of international and national standards in the preparation of technical documentation.
  13. Presentation of technical documentation.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Development of independent tasks in the field of designing geodetic works.
  2. Compiling a terms of reference.
  3. Compilation of a technical report.
  4. Bill of quantities and estimate of works.
  5. Dynamics of realization of works.
