Requirements:
Goal: Course objective for students is to master the procedures for efficient management of investment projects, as well as to enable investment management to be studied from a technical-technological, legal, economic aspect.
Outcome: Ability to manage investments from a technical-technological, legal and economic aspect.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Financial aspect of investment management. Financial, legal and technical aspect. Definition of investment, division of investment. Investment projects. Finance and economics. Impacts on investment. Construction production indicators. Estimation of construction production .
  2. Value of the building. Production value. The price. Costs. Investment program. Price structure. Calculation of facility construction costs / price analysis.
  3. Contracting construction works. The process of submitting and evaluating bids. Contracting. Bidding documentation. Contracting Requirements - general and special. Selection of contractors. Contract on construction and equipping of the facility. Ways of contracting in our and world practice. Tender procedures and contractual documentation of FIDIC and international financial institutions. Basic provisions of the contract.
  4. Investments. Business plan. Contents of the business plan. Preliminary feasibility study and feasibility study. Financial investment indicators. Feasibility study. Investment management plan, program and structure. Cash flow. Financial plan. Dynamic investment plan.
  5. Regulations related to construction finance. Procedure for realization of facilities according to the law on planning and construction. Planning documents. Building land. Construction of facilities. Law on Obligations. Special customs on construction. The law on public procurement. Law on Value Added Tax.
  6. Law on Value Added Tax. Law enforcement.
  7. FIDIC. Forms of contract. General and special Requirements of contracting.
  8. Investment management structure. Information system. Feasibility analysis and dynamics of investment realization
