Goal: The objective of the course enables prospective engineers of architecture and civil engineering not only to thoroughly masterthe issues of construction and design of plumbing and sewage systems, but also to become familiar with basic principles of other installations in buildingsat the level of sites,design bureaus and production sections;they should also acquire thorough knowledge of design and execution of finishing works at the level of sites andproduction sections and design bureaus in accordance with applicable legislation.
Outcome: The courseenables understanding of the process of structure construction, communication, methods, materials, systems, equipment, planning, scheduling, security; understanding of mutual dependency between the particular phases of construction, management, decision-making in the process of structural construction.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. INTERIOR INSTALLATIONS.
  2. Curriculum and syllabus of the course. Sanitary fittings and appliances.
  3. Sewer installations. Prefabrication – sanitary cabins. Integration of installations.
  4. Types of projects. Technical and plan documentation.
  5. Individual sewer systems. Septic tanks. Separators. Biorotors. Technical description of water supply and sewerage installations. Bill of Quantities of water supply and sewerage installations.
  6. Plumbing fixtures. Elements of the internal water supply network. Fire Network. Other installations. Installations for garbage evacuation. Heating installations.
  7. Ventilation installations. Electrical installations. Vertical, oblique and horizontal transport.
  8. Gas installations. Solar energy receivers.
  9. FINISHING WORKS.
  10. Introduction, types of finishing works, modular coordination.
  11. Joinery works, Locksmithing work, Roller shuttersinstallation.
  12. Glazing, tinsmithing, Terazzo works, Ceramic tiling.
  13. Stone cladding, Flooring works, Parquet works, Insulation works.
  14. Roofing works, Facade works, facades claddings, lightweight partitions and suspended ceilings, plaster works.
  15. Plaster and painting works, upholstery works.
