Road Planning and design 2 Course code: SAO2 | 8 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 2
Semester: 4
Requirements: Completed pre-exams from the course Road planning and design 1
Goal: The objective of the course is mastering problem solving and characteristics of rail transport, the officialfacilitiesata railway line, the elements of the permanent way structure and its maintenance, elements of railroadgeometry and basics of design, construction and maintenance of railroads.
Outcome: The curriculum allows students to successfully master theoretical and practical parts of the course such as work on parts of the project in a bureau and at the field. Students are trained for basic calculations, for work on project completion. He is also trained for work execution, professional supervision during the execution, as well as for maintenance works.
