Statics of Structures 1 Course code: STK1 | 6 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 2
Semester: 3
Requirements: Completed pre-exam in the following courses: Mathematics 1, Mathematics 2, Physics, Mechanics and strength of materials
Goal: Mastering the principles of structural analysis of statically determined solidgirders and trusses and training for independent finding solutions for such supporting structures as elements of construction structures.
Outcome: Statics on structures 1 contributes to educational objectives enabling graduate students – engineers to independently calculate building structures as well as to properly recognize static systems of certain elements of construction structures on the construction site, which is especially important in the phase of structure construction.
