Building Structures 2 Course code: GRK2 | 6 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 1
Semester: 2
Requirements: Completed pre-exam requirements of Construction structures 1.
Goal: The objective of the course is to familiarize students with basic elements and assemblies of astructure and materialization of architectural facilities, their mutual dependence and conditionality. The course also aims at exploring the content and method ofcompleting the preliminary, final and working design and as-built design of a facility, in accordance with the Law on Construction, regulations and standards in the field of building construction.
Outcome: The adoption of knowledge in this field facilitates students to follow the instruction from other related courses (Finishing works, Design, Environmental protection). After completing these studies, a student can be involved in practical work on designing project documentation for the facilities in building construction, on managing construction sites, and other jobs connected with the design, completion and preservation of facilities in building construction.
