Physics Course code: FIZK | 6 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 1
Semester: 1
Requirements:
Goal: The knowledge gained during the instruction of physics enables students to follow the instruction of narrowly specialized courses more easily and thoroughly, as well as to fullfil all the relevant instruction requirements.
Outcome: Contribution of the course Physics to the profession takes place in two directions: a) in the case of the opportunity to connectapplied courses with the studied contents, the course gives students a basis for the acquisition of knowledge of narrowly specialized courses; b) in the case when the given content is not taught in detail within narrowly specialized courses and the issues are of interest to the profession, the course Physics provides both, theoretical basis and a series of examples of computational assignments directly related to practice (e.g., passage of heat through a sandwich wall, acoustic properties of rooms – reverberation time).
