Requirements:
Goal: Acquiring extended knowledge in the field of investment management (basic methodologies and techniques, management of investment activities, etc.), investment management job, investments in the public and private sector, investments in real estate property, investments in securities, etc.
Outcome: Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of investment management. They know the importance of investment management. They are trained to perform analysis and synthesis, express a professional expert opinion in investment management, and make investment decisions. They acquire abilities and develop skills to perform investment projects. After passing the exam, the students know the concepts and categories of investment management, understand the investing principles, investment evaluation techniques, and evaluating methods of the investment project.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. The concept and characteristics of investments
  2. Investment structure (global, technical, reproductive).
  3. Investment policy, principles, factors, approaches, and methods.
  4. Investment decisions, and investment programs.
  5. Investment studies, and investment projects (project life cycle, feasibility studies, market and competition analysis, static and dynamic sensitivity analysis, economic and financial analysis, etc.)
  6. Evaluating the effectiveness of the investment project.
  7. Micro and macro aspects of investment management.
  8. Financial management of capital investments (capital budgeting expenditure).
  9. Investing in securities.
  10. Project risk management.
  11. Investment capabilities
  12. Greenfield investments
  13. Investments in the Republic of Serbia.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Practical exercises at legal entities in jobs related to financial management and contracting.
