Requirements:
Goal: That students acquire appropriate theoretical and practical knowledge from the research methodology in traffic and transport.
Outcome: After completing the program, students are able to interpret the basic concepts of research methodology, design research, apply research skills in research work, collect and manage information, present collected and analyzed data and create a professional work.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Introduction to methodology
  2. Types of research
  3. Making a questionnaire
  4. Data processing in research
  5. Important features of scientific and professional work.
  6. Defining professional - master's thesis.
  7. Models of the composition structure of master works.
  8. Selection and analysis of the topic - the title of the professional paper; development of an orientation plan of professional work; collecting, studying and arranging literary material; structure or composition of professional work.
  9. Citing and citing references.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Application of methodology and technology of research and preparation of professional - master papers with specific topics.
