Requirements:
Goal: The aim of the master's thesis is to show that the student, in consultation with the mentor, is able to independently apply the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in solving complex problems from practice as a topic for the master's thesis. The student should get acquainted with the rules, procedures and processes of independent research work, systematize and connect the acquired knowledge in the field of traffic engineering. As an additional goal, the development of the ability of critical thinking, the ability of analysis and synthesis of solutions, predicting the behavior of the selected solution with a clear idea of what are the good and what are the bad sides of the solution is expected.
Outcome: It is expected that the student, through the preparation of a master's thesis, has mastered the theoretical framework of work, writing methodology, research methodology, data collection and processing, and gained the ability to present his work theoretically and practically. The student is able to independently define and analyze problems with an overview of possible solutions and literature in the field and is able to focus their knowledge on solving a specific challenge of the traffic profession in real working conditions.
