Computer Networks Security and Protection Course code: 218007 | 9 ECTS credits

Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 2
Semester: 3
Requirements:
Goal: Students acquire the necessary knowledge and understanding of security principles of protection computer networks. Ability to identify security issues in different networks environments and operating systems. They consider the properties of symmetric and asymmetric ciphers systems, as well as modern encryption algorithms.
Outcome: Students are trained to independently consider and understand safety issues and application adequate mechanisms for the protection of computer networks, as well as solving security problems through implementation multilayer protection architectures.
