Requirements:
Goal: Students should get acquainted with and study the concepts and technologies of transmission in the baseband, through the transmission of analogue signals, with an emphasis on the transmission of digital signals. Integrating these concepts, through a synthetic methodological approach, into the concept of telecommunication network, as the current basic telecommunication entity, will contribute to the student gaining a basis for adopting more complex concepts from telecommunications, but also being ready to master these systems in practice.
Outcome: With the acquired knowledge of the applied principles of transmission in the baseband, especially digital, the student acquired the basis to safely upgrade its knowledge of telecommunications, but also to be directly involved in learning and working with specific systems. Part of the content from the networks creates a reliable basis for understanding the processes in modern networks.

  14. Comparison of transmission modeling: transfer function, frame structure E-1, OSI model
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Examples are analyzed in auditory, demonstration and discussion exercises, problem tasks from theoretical teaching items.
