Goal: Introducing students to the research subject of the sociology of work, its development, and its importance in contemporary society.
Outcome: Acquiring skills for recognizing and solving most frequently encountered problems that accompany modern business operations, particularly in the field of transport.

Theoretical instruction:
  1. Establishment of sociology and the sociology of work: Sciences differentiation process and their classification
  2. General approach to determining the relation between sociology and other social sciences
  3. Notion of the scientific method and methodology: Social sciences method
  4. Research subject and methods of the sociology of work: Establishment of the sociology of work
  5. Human work as a sociological category: Notion of human work
  6. Work culture: Notion of work culture
  7. Work environment and technical progress: Technical progress – conceptual determination
