Goal: Studying the specific areas of mathematics which should enable students to successfully follow and manage other fundamenatal , technical and other specialistic subjcts throughout their studies, as to develop intelectual abilities for logical reasoning, as well as developing work habits and sistematicity in work.
Outcome: Students will be able to solve real life as well as work problems using mastered mathematical methods.

Theoretical instruction:
  1. Mathematical logic
  2. Basic set thoery
  3. Real numbers
  4. Matrics and determinants
  5. Sistems of linear algebraic equations
  6. Real functions of one real variable
  7. Indefinite integral
  8. Definite integrals.
  9. Functions of economy (functios of: demand, supply, total cost, average cost, marginal cost, total income, average income, profit)
  10. Elements of financial mathematics
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Solvig problems of topics covered by the course.
