Requirements:
Goal: Acquiring appropriate theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of business economics. Introduction to basic economic concepts, company and entrepreneurship establishment procedure and registration, company activities, closure of a company. Introduction to funds, sources of funds for business, a commitment of funds, business costs, value flows, implementation of the basic business economy principles, business results, economics and management decisions, etc.
Outcome: Students will be able to recognize the relevant concepts and categories in the field of business economics, establishment procedures, registration, activities, and closure of a company and entrepreneurship. Students will be able to spreads knowledge about all aspects of business, to understand the basics economics principles in the business of the company, and business results, to explain and demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of various forms of business and entrepreneurship and their proper functioning, growth, and development in the business environment. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for successful business management.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. The subject of study
  2. Types of companies and their characteristics, functioning, efficiency, effectiveness, market environment, and reproduction cycles.
  3. Investments, results, economic success (productivity, economy, profitability, etc.), costs, the commitment of funds.
  4. Business results (total income, profit, loss, etc.), the concept of profit distribution, business control, etc.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Practical instruction is followed by a lecture program. Exercises, other forms of teaching, study research work, etc.
