Basic information
Level of Studies: Undergraduate applied studies
Year of Study: 3
Semester: 5
Requirements:
Goal: The course goal is acquiring basic knowledge in the field of Motive Power Operation as a prerequisite for proper work organization of Motive Power traction and their personnel. Introducing the work of Motive Power staff and their connection with the Motive Power turnover. Determining the real needs and making an appropriate Motive Power turnover. Recognize the importance of maintenance, optimization of individual elements of full turnover, and ways of workers assignment to the exploitation of Motive Power.
Outcome: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify influential parameters for Motive Power work, to explain the work and workers to vehicles assignment and make the right assignment choice, to evaluate the tendency of development and the impact of maintenance on Motive Power Operation, to propose the necessary number of vehicles and their staff and to apply this knowledge in the following courses.
