Requirements:
Goal: Through drawing or set of drawings, a uniquely defines all the elements necessary for making machine parts, devices, and other structures in the plane.
Enabling students to apply the rules of the technical agreement, according to national standards, for the production of technical drawings, and to use a computer and appropriate graphic software, to apply the acquired knowledge in professional subjects and future engineering practice

Outcome: To enable the student to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in other professional subjects, as well as to apply the rules of drawing in other professional subjects and during the preparation of the final exam.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Introduction: technical drawing task, standards, accessories, and material for technical drawing
  2. Technical drawings, formats, dimensions, line types, headers, and technical letters
  3. Technique of drawing geometric curves, complex lines, and contours of machine parts
  4. Layouts (projections) of machine parts
  5. Quotation and basic principles of quotation
  6. Dimensioning elements and their application: dimensioning elements, angle and auxiliary angle line, angle end and starting point, marking of angle values in the drawing
  7. Quotation of a tendon, arch, and recurring size
  8. Dimensioning of symmetrical parts partially drawn in appearance, half-section, or cross-section
  9. Dimensioning of slopes, cones, constrictions, and threads
  10. Quotation of tolerated length measures
  11. Level marking
  12. Dimensioning of machine parts: symmetrical dimensioning, regular or chain dimensioning, parallel dimensioning, combined dimensioning, selection of the starting basis for dimensioning
  13. Developed object surfaces.
  14. Software packages for graphic presentation of drawings MS Ofice Visio 2003, AutoCad, Introduction to the organization of drawing software packages on a computer
  15. Input-output devices from the computer.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. 1. Exercises - Application of drawing software packages on the computer MS Office Visio 2003; AutoCad.
2. Laboratory exercises are performed on a computer that is running application software packages to draw on the computer through the development of specific drawings from graphic works.
