Requirements:
Goal: Introducing students to theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of transport of dangerous goods and the basics of professional and safe use of means of transport in road and rail transport, in order to reduce the danger to human life and the environment.
Outcome: Students have acquired basic knowledge of the organization and technology of transport of dangerous goods and are trained for quality planning, organization, and execution of tasks of transport of dangerous goods.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Goods in transport
  2. The concept of dangerous goods
  3. Regulations on the transport of dangerous goods.
  4. Packaging and packaging requirements for dangerous goods
  5. Characteristics of vehicles for the transport of dangerous goods
  6. Loading, unloading, and transport of dangerous goods.
  7. Documents for the transport of dangerous goods.
  8. Transport of dangerous goods by rail.
  9. Control and supervision in the transport of dangerous goods.
  10. Hazardous substances and environmental protection.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. 1. Auditory and numerical exercises in the field of transport of dangerous goods.
2. Defining the elements for the seminary work.
