Introducing students with techniques of designing and executing of electric lighting.

Students will be trained in designing and executing of electric lighting.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
- Introductory lecture (organization and content of the course). Technical regulations for electric lighting. Standards and recommendations.
- Light and lighting. Design of electric lighting.
- Electric light sources. Classification and principles of operation.
- Luminaires. Classification, parts and photometric data.
- Light emitting diode (LED). Physical principles and technologies.
- Interior lighting quality.
- Photometric data of lamps and luminaires. Calculations of indoor lighting.
- Lighting of industrial objects. Emergency lighting.
- Public lighting. Road lighting.
- Tunnel lighting.
- Reflector lighting.
- Sports lighting.
- Computer design of the electrical lighting.
- Electric lighting control systems, software and devices.
