Goal: The purpose of this program is for students to acquire the basic written and oral skills in order to be able to understand English texts, as well as to develop and improve their ability for communication, necessary for handling various situations in everyday life and business environment.
Outcome: Acquired knowledge and skills should enable students to handle situations in everyday life and business environment.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Program contents include texts about everyday life, which enables students to acquire the basic vocabulary and written and oral skills.
  2. Grammar level includes the basics of morphology and syntax (Article, Nouns, Adjectives, Adverbs, Numbers, Tenses, Active and Passive, Modal Verbs, Phrases typical for the English language).
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Exercising vocabulary and grammar. Reading of texts. Communication (improving communicating skills).
