Train students with basic Internet technologies and enable them to independently create basic presentations on the Internet, including a flexible display.

Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
- Basic concepts: networks, topology and layers.
- Internet, services and protocols.
- HTML Basics.
- CSS-based formatting.
- Selectors and declarations.
- Working with style classes. CSS inheritance.
- Fixed, elastic, fluid and hybrid design.
- Review of the first part of the material.
- Responsive web design.
- Works with media inquiries and customize the screen width.
- XHTML, the basics of XML technology.
- Basics of JavaScript language.
- Object model document.
- Review of the other part of the material.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
- HTML syntax and simple pages.
- CSS selectors and declarations. Application of styles.
- Introducing new HTML5 structural and other elements.
- Working on a flexible design.
- Placing an application on the Internet, service features, and maintenance tools.
