- Energy sources. Classification of the form of energy.

- Power plants. Conventional and unconventional power plants.
- Thermal power plants.
- Nuclear power plants.
- Hydro power plants.
- Transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Remote substation control.
- Electrical installations.
- Electrical energy converters.
- Transformers.
- Asynchronous (induction) machines.
- Synchronous machines.
- Direct-current machines. Electrical measurements in power engineering.
