Goal: Introducing the students to the IT control systems. Training students to work with databases (MS Access).
Outcome: Upon passing the exam, the students will be able to: explain and apply the obtained knowledge in creating an IT control system; manage an IT control system within an organization; form databases.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Using computers in management and in the textile industry in general.
  2. Forming databases.
  3. Designing and implementing IT systems.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Basic definitions concerning MS Access. Creating databases. Creating and using simple forms for data input. Working in Access. Advanced options in MS Access. Creating apps in MS Access.
